What is recorded here

In a graveyard (KD034-005001-) containing a ruined medieval church (KD034-005----). Half of a roughly square font with rounded corners survives (original ext. L 0.77m E-W; surviving L 0.35m N-S; H 0.33m) with a circular basin (original diam. 0.52m; D 0.2m) in which half of a drain-hole also survives. The upper lip of the font (av. Wth 8cm) contains two worn rectangular mortices (L 5cm; Wth 3cm; D 3cm) to take the hinges of a lid. Compiled by: Gearóid Conroy Date of upload: 26 November
