Three cremation pits marked a forgotten boundary on the gentle eastward slope of Tinryland. One pit held fifteen sherds of a decorated Early Bronze Age food vessel, proving that people still loved the dead enough to feed them. The road builders later cut through this quiet neighbourhood, exposing only a fraction of what once stood together.

Partially excavated in advance of construction of the N9/N10 Kilcullen-Waterford Road (Excavation Licence number E2589). On flat ground that gently sloped eastwards towards the N. Post excavation analysis confirmed that there were three definite cremation pits one of which was interpreted as a token burial. One of the cremations was accompanied by fifteen pottery sherds some of which were decorated representing the remains of a vase food vessel dated to the Early Bronze Age.
