Aghfarrell holds a flat cemetery where a man was buried crouched on his right side inside a small granite box. He faced the western slope of Ballinacorney Hill with a food vessel behind him, as if someone believed he would still be hungry in the dark. The sandpit later gave up two more pit burials during quarrying in 1938, proving that the hill had kept more than one secret.

Situated on the W-facing slope of Ballinacorney Hill. The cist was of short trapezoidal shape (L 1.05m; Wth 0.66m; D 0.51m). All the structural stones were of granite. It contained a crouched inhumation of an adult male who was placed on its right side. A bowl food vessel had been placed just behind the body in the corner of the cist. Two pit burials (DU024-048002-) were also found in the sandpit during quarrying in 1938 (Raftery 1938, 300-303; Waddell 1970, 115; Waddell 1990, 80). Not precisely located.
