Field system in Oldtown (shillelogher By.)

Aerial photographs (GB96.GA.15, 20 July 1996; ASIAP (22) 0, 2-3, August 1996) show a cropmark of the fosse of a circular enclosure (KK023-134----), with an E-facing entrance. Faint linear fosses immediately NW of the enclosure and running NE-SE suggested an associated field system (KK023-134----). There is another cropmark enclosure (KK023-135----) c. 200m to the NW which also has an associated field system (KK023-136----), though the latter could also be part of the NE-SE field system.
