What is recorded here
Located on an E-facing slope. The cropmarks of field drains covering an area of about 3 hectares (c. 8 acres) is visible only on Apple Maps which utilises a survey conducted by Bluesky International during June 2018. The drains create a pattern of small rectangular fields (dims c. 30m x c. 20m to c. 60m x c. 30m). The drains partly incorporate a circular enclosure (ME033-067002-) and also overlie an oval enclosure (ME033-067003-), both of which are probably raths. The complex was first reported by Anthony Murphy.
