What is recorded here

On poorly drained reclaimed grassland within a ring-barrow cemetery (LI024-219/220----; LI024-325/-332----) abutting the townland boundary with Derk to the S. The field system is not depicted on the OSi 1840 ed. 6-inch map nor is it depicted on the 1897 ed. 25-inch map. It is visible on the OSi orthoimages taken 2005-12 and on the Digital Globe orthoimages taken 2011-2013. Identified as a relic field system by the Bruff aerial photographic survey (Bruff 12: AP 4/3626). Visible on ASI aerial photographic survey 2002 (ASIAP (310) 31). The field system (ext. dims. 185m N-S; 220m E-W) underlies and is on a separate and distinct orientation to the modern field enclosure. It is visible on Digital Google Earth orthoimage taken 18/11/2018.
