Field system in Cartron (roscommon By., Rossmore Ed),clogher More is a field system in Cartron (roscommon By., Rossmore Ed),clogher More, County Roscommon, Ireland. It covers twenty-five hectares on a gentle south-facing slope and contains a rath. Long interrupted field banks run east-west two hundred metres apart, while a three-hundred-metre roadway aligns north-northwest to south-southeast. Aerial photographs show these banks, although reclaimed pasture hides them at ground level.

On a gentle S-facing slope and on the flat ground at the bottom of the slope. An area of c. 25 ha contained field banks visible on aerial photographs (ACAP: V206/45, 58), although no pattern can be discerned. Some long interrupted sections of field banks running generally E-W and placed c. 200m apart can distinguished, and a roadway (RO022-012001-) (L c. 300m) aligned NNW-SSE. Rath (RO022-013----) is within the field system. This land is reclaimed pasture, and there are no features visible at ground level. Compiled by: Michael Moore Date of upload: 24 August 2010
