An aerial photograph (GB89.AA.13) shows the cropmarks of fosses forming a field system attached to a rectilinear enclosure, probably a medieval moated site (TS075-080----). The field system includes a semi-circular enclosure (immediately S of the moated site) set within the NE portion of a large, but incomplete, curvilinear enclosure extending southwards. This system has been removed in the course of quarrying.

This remains an important historical record, but the official description says the monument is no longer visible or has been destroyed. The monument record does not grant public access. Check the route and ask the landowner before entering private land.
