In wet pasture liable to flooding 60m N of a watercourse that marks the townland boundary with Camas North. Not depicted on OSi historic maps. Identified from examination of aerial photograph (BGE 1:5000 No. 48) of the region taken on 03/11/1984 associated with Bord Gáis pipeline. Fragmented pattern of rectilinear cropmarks, some perpendicular to each, located within a sub-rectangular shaped field (420m NW-SE x 100m NE-SW) visible on OSi orthophoto taken between 2005-2012 and on Google Earth orthoimage dated 20/09/2020.
