On a low pasture rise. Aerial photograph (CUCAP BOC 64 (1973)) shows the cropmark of a circular enclosure (KD035-020001-), apparently overlain and enclosed by the cropmark of a larger rectangular enclosure (est. c. 70m NE-SW; c. 60m NW-SE), possibly a later field, but not recorded on the 1st ed. (1839) of the OS 6-inch map. No visible surface traces survive.
