In an area of undulating stony pasture broken by limestone outcropping.
A relict field wall is visible in an aerial photograph (OS 2 4343 –4; Roll 216, pr. 18; SMR file). In the photograph, the field wall follows a zig-zag course through rough pasture, skirting an area of outcropping, and possibly respecting natural contours. There is a possible enclosure (MA092-098001-) to S.
This wall was removed during reclamation works. There is no visible trace at ground level.
