Situated on a level landscape. The cropmark of an unmapped field bank is visible on aerial photographs (MM (7) 25-8). It extends S from an E-W field bank and curves W and N to meet a NE-SW field bank. This creates a large sub-oval field (dims. c. 120m NE-SW; c. 80m NW-SE) enclosing c. 1 ha.
The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Wexford' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1996). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
