Field boundary in Garranmaconly

Not marked on the 1841 or 1909 editions of the OS 6-inch maps. A field bank, extending to the E and NW of ringfort (LA021-015001-) is visible on aerial photographs (GSI, S 79-80). No visible surface remains. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Laois' (Dublin Stationery Office, 1995) compiled by P.
