Field boundary in Fehanagh

In rough hill pasture, on both the E and W banks of a river, on the NE-facing slope of Knockowen Mountain. The section of relict field wall on the E bank of the river extends from outcropping rock at the SE and runs (L 24m) in a NW direction to within 3m of the river where it disappears under bog. On the W bank, the second section of relict wall emerges 7m W of the river and runs (L c. 22m) in a general W direction where it disappears into bog. In general the field walls (T c. 0.6m; H 0.4m) protrude above the blanket bog. There is an enclosure (KE109-055007-) 17m to the S.
