Field boundary in Cloghernoosh

A pair of conjoined circular structures KE073-007----, on a natural ledge S of Lough Callee in the steep-sided valley that is formed by Brassel and Feabrahy mountains. There is no communicating passage evident, but the smaller structure at N has an independent entrance, 1.5m wide, at E. Sections of outcrop have been incorporated in the drystone foundations. D: 7.8m and 5m. H: .6m. T: 1.5m. An early field wall, partly submerged in boggy pasture a short distance N of the site, runs for 50m. The above description is derived from A. O'Sullivan and J.
