Field boundary in Carriganimmy

In rough hill grazing, on a slight break in slope of a peaty WSW-facing hill. A relict, linear, stone field boundary (T c. 0.6m; H c. 0.3m), which protrudes above the peaty surface, commences c. 17m to the SE of a hut site (CO048-184----) and extends (L 24m) in a general NW-SE direction before disappearing into the bog at the SE. Towards its NW end the relict wall turns to the NE for a distance of 2m. Some of the stones are set at right angles to the line of the wall and the wall varies from one to two stones in width.
