Detached three-bay two-storey house, built c.1840, now disused. Hipped slate roof with scalloped courses, clay ridge tiles, pair of brick chimneystacks to centre, and cast-iron rainwater goods. Roughcast rendered walls with stone eaves course, smooth render block-and-start surrounds to window and door openings, and block-and-start quoins. Front window openings with camber-headed two-over-two timber sash windows and segmental-headed arch to front door having replacement timber panelled door with fixed side and overlights. Two-over-two timber sash windows, single plain timber sash window, and camber-headed two-over-two sliding sash window to rear elevation. Attached multiple-bay single-storey outbuilding attached to south-west gable. Pitched slate roof with gabled dormer, clay ridge tiles, and cast-iron rainwater goods. Single double-light multiple pane casement window to rear, fittings missing from other openings. Rendered plinth walls with cast-iron railings and square-profile piers to entrance, built c.1960.

An well-proportioned farmhouse retaining its original setting and outbuildings. The relationship of the house and outbuildings in close proximity is typical of traditional rural buildings. Its relatively substantial size, symmetrical design, and hipped roof is suggestive of a prosperous middle sized farmer. Retaining much of its traditional character and charm, the house and outbuildings add to the county's architectural, agricultural and social heritage.
