Detached three-bay two-storey farmhouse, extant 1922, on a rectangular plan. Hipped slate roof with clay ridge tiles, paired rendered central chimney stacks having corbelled stepped chamfered capping, and cast-iron rainwater goods on rendered eaves retaining cast-iron downpipes. Roughcast walls bellcast over rendered plinth. Hipped segmental-headed central door opening with timber mullions on concrete step threshold, and concealed dressings framing timber panelled door having sidelights below overlight. Square-headed window openings with concrete sills, and concealed dressings framing two-over-two timber sash windows. Set back from line of road in landscaped grounds with rendered piers to perimeter having chamfered capping supporting arrow head-detailed looped wrought iron gate.

A farmhouse representing an integral component of the early twentieth-century domestic built heritage of south County Wexford with the architectural value of the composition, one rooted firmly in a conservative Georgian fashion, suggested by such attributes as the compact rectilinear plan form centred on an elegant doorcase; and the diminishing in scale of the openings on each floor producing a graduated visual impression. Having been well maintained, the elementary form and massing survive intact together with substantial quantities of the original fabric, both to the exterior and to the interior, thus upholding the character or integrity of the composition. Furthermore, adjacent outbuildings (extant 1902) continue to contribute positively to the group and setting values of a self-contained ensemble making a pleasing visual statement in a rural street scene.
