What is recorded here
Detached three-bay two-storey farmhouse, built c.1870, presently uninhabited. Rendered walls and pitched slate roof. Square-headed openings with timber sash windows. Projecting porch with segmental-arched opening having timber surround and overlight. Two-bay two-storey extension to east. Stone outbuildings with red brick dressings and pitched slate roofs ranged around four sides of farmyard to rear.
This farmhouse retains many of its original features such as the timber sash windows, slate roof, cast-iron gate, interior window shutters. The stone outbuildings ranged around the enclosed yard would have served different purposes and in conjunction with the house represent the remains of a prosperous farm.
