Clear stone courses still stand at the southeast edge of a broken ring, marking the place where human hands shaped the rock before grass and forgetting took the rest. The fort keeps its shape in pasture rather than pride, large enough to hold a small life and quiet enough to disappear when unwatched. What is missing has not stopped the circle existing; it has changed the circle into a place where imagination must finish what the stones no longer carry.

Internal diam. 37.5m NE-SW The poorly preserved remains of this caher are located in low-lying pasture on the N side of Kenmare Bay. The site is bounded by modern field walls at W and S, as depicted on the second edition of the OS map. The enclosing element is extant from NNW to SE, though much of it is reduced to a band of sod-covered debris. However, a stretch of neatly coursed inner and outer facing, enclosing a rubble core, is visible at SE. This is preserved to an external height of .8m, an internal height of .3m and a width of 2m. Field clearance material abuts the external circuit of the wall. A scatter of stone occurs in the interior, but forms no recognisable pattern. The above description is derived from A.
