What is recorded here
Forgetting is a human habit. The fairies keep ledgers of every stone, every shadow and every promise. They patrol the borders of imagination, not to punish, but to remind. What is forgotten is not lost. It is waiting to be remembered.
On slight W-facing slope, in low-lying pasture. Monument, depicted as roughly circular enclosure (diam. c. 20m) on 1923 OS 6-inch map, has been levelled. According to landowner enclosure was stone built and removed "a number of years ago". At site of enclosure now is roughly oval depression (13.6m x 8.7m; D 1.6m), used as dump for field stones. Otherwise, No trace of monument evident.
