Fairy fort / stone ringfort in Moycola is a circular cashel in level Galway pasture, its drystone wall reduced to seventy centimetres despite reaching thirty-two centimetres wide where stones slipped. Moycola Castle stands one hundred and ten metres away, suggesting the fort belonged to the same local world rather than appearing as a harmless fairy tale. People may have lived, hidden or worshipped inside that small circle before field clearance buried part of the wall and reduced a defended home to a low ring on the horizon.

In level pastureland. This poorly preserved circular cashel (diam. 25.5m) is defined by a drystone wall (max. Wth 3.2m including slippage; H 0.7m). Some field-clearance material has been piled against the cashel wall. A NW-SE field wall runs immediately to its NE. Moycola Castle (GA104-215----) lies c. 110m to the SSW.
