Fairy fort / stone ringfort in Milltown (athlone South By.) is a fairy fort or stone ringfort in Milltown (athlone South By.), County Roscommon, Ireland. It occupies a rise in an undulating landscape with limestone outcrop, just north of a knoll. The circular overgrown area measures about thirty metres across and contains a smaller circular hut-site defined by a stone spread. A fragment of a rotary quern remains at the monument.
On a rise in an undulating landscape with limestone outcrop, just to N of a knoll. Circular overgrown area (int. diam. 30m NNW-SSE; 29m ENE-WSW) defined by a stone spread with facing-stones, best preserved S-SSE (original Wth 1.9-2m; max. H 0.75m). There is no identifiable original entrance but a circular hut-site (RO047-058018-) defined by a stone spread (int. diam. 2.4m; ext. diam. 8.4m) is inside the perimeter at WSW. A fragment of a rotary quern is at the monument.
