Fairy fort / stone ringfort in Knockroe (tirerrill By., Aghanagh Ed) is a fairy fort or stone ringfort in Knockroe (tirerrill By., Aghanagh Ed), County Sligo, Ireland. The oval site occupies rocky pasture on an east-facing slope above a pass through the Bricklieve Mountains. A collapsed sod-covered rubble wall encloses the area, while a man-made underground passage cuts through the eastern half.
In rocky pasture, on an E-facing slope above a pass through the Bricklieve Mountains. An oval area (int. diam. 19.3m x 16.5m) enclosed by a collapsed sod-covered rubble wall (Wth 3.2m; int. H 0.3m; ext. H 1.75m). There is a possible entrance (Wth 1.7m) at SW. The interior slopes down to E and there is a Man-made underground passage (SL040-114002-) in the E half.
