Fairy fort / stone ringfort in Knockroe (tirerrill By., Aghanagh Ed) is a fairy fort or stone ringfort in Knockroe (tirerrill By., Aghanagh Ed), County Sligo, Ireland. The oval cashel sits in rocky pasture on the top of a gently sloping ridge. Grass covers the remains of its two-metre-wide stone wall, which encloses an uneven, stone-covered interior. A man-made underground passage cuts through the southern half of the structure.
In rocky pasture, on the top of a gently sloping ridge. An oval area (int. diam. 22m x 17.2m) enclosed by the grass-covered remains of a stone wall (Wth 2m; int. H 0.6m; ext. H 0.5m). The interior is uneven and stone-covered and there is a Man-made underground passage (SL040-112002-) in the S half.
