Knocknabooly East holds a collapsed stone ring, twenty metres across, where a rock outcrop to the west may have fed the wall. The fort has no visible entrance, and dense bushes now block the interior, turning a human dwelling into an unreadable chamber. Whatever life moved inside that circle has vanished beneath leaves and silence.

In pasture; on E-W ridge, at foot of S-facing slope. Circular area (diam. c. 20m) enclosed by collapsed dry-stone wall (int. H c. 0.8m; ext. H c. 1m; Wth top c. 0.8m). Wall facing survives with coursing visible in many areas. No entrance feature apparent. Interior inaccessible due to dense overgrowth of trees and bushes.
