Fairy fort / stone ringfort in Gragan West

Fairy fort / stone ringfort

What is recorded here

No one knows the fort's history because it never stopped changing shape. It swallowed a man whole on Monday and returned him Tuesday with three extra fingers and a memory of drowning in honey. The stones are not dead; they are hungry for witness.
In rough pasture on the NE-facing slope of a N-S ridge, on the E side of the Caher valley. An arc of stone SE-N is visible on Digital Globe (2011-2013) and on OSiMapGenie (2012-2018) and may be the remains of a cashel. Noted by Ros Ó Maoldúin. An enclosure lies c. 45m to the E.
