No visible trace survives in Gleann Fán, though a circular enclosure with a central clochaun still belongs to the land beneath the grass. The forgotten fort may have held children, goats or fearful people, while the fairies kept the empty chamber for themselves.

A circular enclosure with central clochaun is marked here on the 1st edition of the OS map. It is identified as a 'caher' in the OSM. No visible trace survives.
