Fairy fort / stone ringfort in Coolteige is a fairy fort or stone ringfort in Coolteige, County Roscommon, Ireland. It occupies a northwest-facing terrace of a karst slope, forming a circular overgrown area twenty-two point five metres across with a stone spread three and a half metres wide. A drystone-built house remains in the western quadrant, while a stone wall connects the site to another cashel ten metres west.
On a NW-facing terrace of a karst slope. Circular overgrown area (int. diam. 22.5m) defined by a stone spread (Wth 3.5m; H 0.5-0.65m) with an entrance (Wth 1.8m) at WNW. The remains of a drystone-built house (RO025-064013-) (int. dims 3.8m N-S; 2m E-W) are in the W quadrant. This cashel is connected to cashel (RO035-064004-) which is c. 10m to the W by the remains of a stone wall (Wth 1.6m; H 0.2-0.4m), and a similar wall extends off to the S. Cashel (RO035-064007-) is c. 120m to the ENE.
