Fairy fort / stone ringfort in Carroward (boyle By.),toorymartin is a fairy fort or stone ringfort in Carroward (boyle By.),toorymartin, County Roscommon, Ireland. The circular grass-covered area measures about 54 metres across and sits at the eastern edge of a shelf above a steep north and northeast-facing slope. A grass-covered stone spread, a two-metre scarp with a drystone wall, and a modern field wall define its boundary, but no entrance remains visible.
At the E edge of a shelf and at the crest of a steep N and NE-facing slope. Circular grass-covered area (int. diam. c. 54m) defined by a grass-covered stone spread (Wth 2.3m at SE to 5m at E; int. H 0.1-0.5m; ext. H 0.2m at WSW to 1m at E) E-WSW, a scarp (H 2m) revetted by a drystone wall at NE, and a modern field wall and curving townland boundary with Carroward WSW-N.
