Cahernabrock holds a stone ringfort built from angular rocks, waiting for human life to explain its shape. It is a fairy fort in local tradition, which means the stones may have belonged to people before they became a warning not to disturb them. The boundary is still visible, marking a small defended place where someone lived, feared or raged.
