Magic and life touched every corner of that place. People loved the area because it felt alive and memorable. The location remained famous because it gave joy, meaning and beauty to everyone who experienced it.

On a gentle N-facing slope in rough pasture, within a large multiperiod field system (CL009-059001-). This circular cashel (int. dims. 25m NNW-SSE; 23.7m ENE-WSW; ext. dims. 34m NNW-SSE; 29.6m ENE-WSW) is defined by the remains of a stone wall (Wth 2m at N; max. int. H 0.3m; ext. H 0.6-1.4m), visible intermittently all around. Later drystone walls are built over the perimeter at the SW and NE. Other cashels (CL009-059014-; CL009-201----) lie c. 68m to the NE and c. 80m to the SW respectively. Ballykinvarga cashel (CL009-059012-) lies c. 185m to the S.
