Fairy fort / ringfort in Knocktophermanor

Fairy fort / ringfort

What is recorded here

Knocktophermanor holds a ringfort, an unclassified circle of earth and stone that has watched the Kilkenny fields for centuries. Its exact purpose and age remain hidden, but the structure itself is clear: a boundary drawn by human hands, likely marking a home, a boundary or a place of refuge. The fort stands as a quiet witness to lives no longer named, its stones unchanged while the world around it turned to dust and memory.
