What is recorded here

No visible fort remains in Kilwarry, though old maps marked a ringfort on a small rise in good land. It vanished beneath grass, memory or time, leaving behind a name that sounds like fantasy. That is not nothing. The earth kept the shape long enough for people to draw it, believe it and forget it.

Marked on the 1st and 2nd editions of the OS 6-inch maps. No visible sign of the 'Fort' now survives. It was located on a small rise in undulating good land.
