Death and change have touched every living thing, yet this fort remains. It is a circle of earth and stone in Galway, built by human hands before memory faded. The fairies never lived inside it, but they reused what people abandoned. They turned human loss into fairy life, and they continue the experiment of creation.

In undulating grassland. Subcircular rath (E-W 32m, N-S 29m), in fair condition, defined by two banks and an intervening fosse. The outer bank is best preserved at S. The dumping of clay and large stones has disturbed the enclosing elements at W. There is an entrance causeway (Wth 4.4m) at SE.
