What is recorded here
Harristown keeps an unmarked ringfort, the kind of place where human hands built a circle and legend took it over. The field may have held a home, a shrine or a boundary marker before memory thinned. People may have lived inside the bank, watched the road or buried what they lost. The fort still stands as a reminder that ordinary ground can hide an entire lifetime.
