What is recorded here

Sixty metres of forgotten boundary still circle Grange East, though farm banks have cut through its eastern edge and grass has swallowed the rest. The surviving western curve holds a shallow ditch and a low ridge, while an underground passage waits beneath the centre like a hidden room in a discarded house. People may have lived inside, feared the dark below, or simply missed the shape after it disappeared. The fort does not need a name or a date to remain strange.

In low-lying grassland. Poorly preserved roughly circular overgrown rath (D 60m) defined by a low bank and external fosse. Possible entrance at S. A field bank cuts the monument at ENE and ESE, and no visible surface trace of the enclosing elements survives to E of it. A Man-made underground passage (GA070-068001-) lies in the interior.
