What is recorded here

An unclassified ringfort in Danganbeg, County Kilkenny, holds no public date, function or owner, but its earthwork still marks a chosen place in the landscape. People may have lived, hidden or remembered there before written records appeared. The fort keeps that absence alive by refusing a complete answer.
