What is recorded here

Cloonee holds two forgotten circles, one a ringfort and the other a faint oval thirty-five metres across. Distance and grass have erased the second, leaving only the memory of a boundary. Perhaps people lived beside the first fort, used the second for storage, or abandoned it when the land changed. What is certain is that two enclosures once competed for attention in the same field.

Some 50m S of a ringfort (GA042-097----). Marked on 1st ed. of OS 6-inch map as an oval enclosure (c. 35m by c. 25m). No visible surface trace survives.
