Fairy fort / ringfort in Carrowmore East is a densely overgrown circular rath, 26.8m across, lying 50m SE of another ringfort in County Galway. Two banks and an intervening fosse still mark its edge from SSE through W to NW, while a 2.5m gap at E may be its original entrance. It is unclassified, unnamed in local memory, and hidden enough that people might walk past it twice before seeing the shape of a house that never stopped being a house.
