Fairy fort / ringfort in Cabragh, (tullyvin East Ed)

Fairy fort / ringfort

What is recorded here

Fairy forts are unclassified ringforts, but local people often call them homes for the unseen. That is a story, not a fact. The visible part is a circular earthwork in open country, built or shaped by human hands, probably for residence, storage or boundary marking. The fairy name comes later. It is the mind refusing to forget that the circle encloses something invisible.
