Fairy fort / ringfort in Ballynabanoge South is a fairy fort or ringfort in Ballynabanoge South, County Waterford, Ireland. The 1925 edition of the Ordnance Survey six-inch map marked it as a circular embanked enclosure with an external diameter of about 35 metres. The Archaeological Inventory of County Waterford recorded a slightly dished oval mound in pasture on a gentle south-facing slope, reaching 0.6 metres in height.
Marked as circular embanked enclosure (ext. diam. c. 35m) only on the 1925 ed. of the OS 6-inch map, and situated in pasture on a gentle S-facing slope. Slightly dished oval mound (dims. at top 23.7m E-W; 14.5m N-S; dims. at base 32.5m E-W; 24.5m N-S; max. H 0.6m). The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Waterford' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1999).
