On a slight rise in gently rolling grassland. Poorly preserved circular rath (D 29m) defined by a tree-lined degraded bank, no visible surface trace of which survives from NW through N to NE. A field wall overlies the bank at E. The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Galway Vol. II - North Galway'.
