Killallaghtan Ed holds a subcircular rath forty-two metres across, marked by a bank and a partly vanished fosse on a grassy rise beside bogland. Its southern entrance leads to an underground passage, suggesting the fort was built for more than passive display. The missing northern ditch and hidden interior chamber imply a place where people moved through shadow as easily as they walked across open ground.

On a rise in grassland adjacent to a tract of bogland. Well-preserved subcircular rath (WSW-ENE 42m, NNW-SSE 37.8m) defined by a bank and external fosse; no visible surface trace of the fosse survives from N to ENE. There is an entrance at SSE.
