No fort remains in Baile Na Bó, though maps drew a circle fifteen to twenty metres wide on high rough pasture. The stone ring vanished before anyone recorded its loss, leaving only grass and memory behind. What the fort held, who built it or when it emptied has gone with it.

There is no trace of the single-ringed 'Fort' shown on the 1st and 2nd editions of the OS 6-inch maps as a circular enclosure (diam. 15-20m). It was situated on high ground in rough pasture and was probably stone-built. The above description was derived from the 'Archaeological Survey of County Donegal.
