Fairy fort is a 32-metre earthen ring at the south end of a drumlin ridge in County Longford. Its shallow outer ditch has vanished and the entrance has blurred, leaving a low scarp that rises no more than ninety centimetres above the pasture. People may have lived there, or the land may have shaped itself into a circle and waited for them.

At the S end of a N-S drumlin ridge in pasture. A raised circular area (diam. 32m) defined by a scarp (H 0.25-0.9m). A report in 1976 (SMR file) recorded a shallow external fosse; it has since been infilled. The original entrance is not recognisable. Compiled by: Patrick F.
