Fairy fort in Treanakillew, County Leitrim, is a grass-covered circular platform thirty-five metres across, defined by a steep scarp rising four metres at the southern edge. The original entrance is not identified, leaving the doorway hidden and the interior uncertain. A person may have lived inside the ring or the fort may have marked a boundary between human and fairy land. The missing entrance keeps the place alive because imagination must complete what measurement stops short of.

Towards the bottom of the S-facing slope of Glencar valley, with a ravine (D c. 10-15m) immediately to the E. Grass-covered circular platform (diam. 35m N-S; 34.2m E-W) defined by a steep scarp (H 1.2m at N; 2m at W; 3.5-4m at S, downslope). The original entrance is not identified.
