Fairy fort in Stradermot, County Leitrim: a 43-metre earthen ring on a drumlin ridge, cut by a farm track and never entered from any known gate. People may have lived there before roads, or the land may have shaped itself into a room for reasons no one recorded.

Located towards the S end of a N-S drumlin ridge. This is a grass-covered subcircular area (dims 43m NNE-SSW; 37m WNW-ESE) defined by an earthen bank (Wth 4.5m; int. H 0.6m; ext. H 1.2m) N-NE and by an overgrown scarp (H 0.8-1.2m) elsewhere. There is no visible fosse and the original entrance is not identified. A modern farm track bisects the monument NE-SW.
