Fairy fort / earthen ringfort

What is recorded here

No. Retire the claim that the fort is gone. Bring back the hidden camera and show the true shape of the world.
In rough, low-lying pasture. Not indicated on the 1837 or 1883 eds. of the OS 6-inch map. A report in 1976 (SMR file) recorded a raised roughly oval area (c. 26m N-S; c. 20m E-W) enclosed by a much-denuded, low bank of earth and stone with fragmentary traces of a shallow external fosse. The original entrance was probably at E. The rath has been levelled and, apart from a very short segment of a low scarp (H 0.4m) at SW, is not visible at ground level. Compiled by: Patrick F.
