South Ring holds a broken fairy fort where two low earthen banks curve around a semi-circular pasture space forty-four metres wide. The missing southern edge suggests the field boundary cut through an older enclosure rather than anyone building a half-fort on purpose. Cattle may have grazed across the gap for generations, wearing the memory smooth while the remaining banks kept their shape on the south-facing slope.

In pasture, on S-facing slope. Two low earthen banks (max. H 0.5m) enclose a semi-circular area WSW->ENE (diam. 44m); on N side of field boundary, no trace of enclosure to S.
